Obese Category- The most dreaded range in BMI

 

 As mentioned in our previous blog posts, Body Mass Index is a measurement which is obtained by dividing the weight of a person by the square of the height of the person. If this calculation equates to greater than 30, it is a cause for concern. While the normal range lies between 18.5 to 25, when your BMI starts to go beyond the mark of 30, it indicates the onset of obesity. As more and more people are inching towards this range of BMI, it is found that the energy balance is not being properly maintained by many people.
